QUAD is a group of four countries: the USA, Australia, India, and Japan. It was formed in 2007 by the Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe. The QUAD countries meet regularly to discuss various matters related to technology, shipping, and trade in the Indo-Pacific regions. The Indo-Pacific includes the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Most of the world’s powerful nations, like the USA, China, India, and Japan, are located here.
