Ukraine, Moldova want to join EU

Ukraine and Moldova are two neighboring countries in Europe that are affected by the Russia-Ukraine war. The two countries want to join the European Union (EU) as they can get support from powerful nations. The EU is a set of 27 countries that share laws on trade, transport, etc. But the two nations must change their laws according to the rules of the EU. So, it will be a long time before they can join the group.
