UP’s Pink E-Rickshaw Driver Wins UK’s Royal Award

18-year-old Arti is an e-rickshaw driver from Uttar Pradesh. She went to London to receive the Amal Clooney Women’s Empowerment Award. The award is given to young people who achieve success through hard work. After the award ceremony, Arti met King Charles III at Buckingham Palace, London. Arti drives an e-rickshaw which does not run on petrol that pollutes the atmosphere. Arti joined the Indian Government’s pink e-rickshaw scheme that provides jobs to women.
