Scientists Find the 1st Underground Cave on the Moon

The surface of the moon is not a smooth one. It has many pits and craters that were formed by volcanoes. While exploring the pits, Italian scientists found a deep cave under a pit. The cave is 45 meters wide and located 150 meters below the moon’s surface. It is as long as 14 tennis courts. In the future, when astronauts land on the moon, they might use the cave as a natural shelter.
