To reduce the number of road accidents in the next 10 years, Rajasthan adopted a Road Safety Action Plan. It is the 1st Indian state to adopt this policy. Rajasthan aims to reduce road accidents by 50 percent till 2030. During this period, people will be taught about road safety issues like speed limits, usage of helmets and seatbelts, and insurance. The Government of Rajasthan, together with the World Bank, will improve road safety systems.
