Punjab to introduce more solar pumps for farms

The Punjab Government will connect 663 extra solar water pumps in the farms. These pumps will work on solar energy. They will control pollution caused by the burning of fuels. As the pumps work during the day, farmers need not go to their fields at night to water their crops. 20 thousand solar water pumps will be set up for the welfare of the farmers in Punjab.
