Powerful AI tool launched to check for TB

AIRIS-TB is a chest x-ray scanning tool that is powered by artificial intelligence (AI). It was developed by a global health tech company called M42. The tool can perform chest x-rays to find if a person is affected by tuberculosis (tb) disease. As AIRIS-TB works quickly it can reduce the work of radiologists or technicians by about 80 percent. It also reduces the waiting time for visa applicants who need a health check-up.
