Planet vs. Plastic: Earth Day, 2024

EarthDay.org observes Earth Day on April 22. Over 1 billion people from 193 countries participate in environmental awareness programs on this day. The theme for 2024 is Planet vs. Plastics. Although plastics are useful, plastic waste is harmful and never gets destroyed. EarthDay.org calls on people to unite in their fight against plastics. It also wants a 60 percent reduction in the making of plastics by 2040.
