Paris Paralympics to close on 8th September

The 2024 Paris Paralympic Games began with a grand opening ceremony on 28th August in Paris, France. The Paralympics happen after the Summer Olympics and are held for athletes with disabilities. There are 22 sporting events in which more than 4,000 sportspeople from 160 countries participate. The closing ceremony will be held on 8th September. The Paralympics are held once every two years. The next Winter Paralympics will be held in Italy in 2026.
