Paris Olympics 2024 is the 1st Games with Equality for Women

For the first time, the Olympic Games will have an equal number of male and female sportspeople. Although Olympic Games were played from 1896, women were able to participate only from the 1900 Olympics. Even then, of the 997 athletes, only 22 were women and they could participate only in 5 competitions. But in the Paris Summer Olympics 2024, 50 percent of athletes will be women. There will also be more sports events for them.
