Olympic medals have pieces of the Eiffel Tower

The 2024 Olympic medals are special as they have a small portion of the Eiffel Tower in them. The Eiffel Tower of Paris was built from 1887-1889. When it was repaired later, workmen saved some of the metals used to build the tower. These metals were used to make the Olympic medals now. Special medals are ready for the Paralympic Games for athletes with disabilities. The Games will be held in Paris from August to September.
