Millions of Muslim pilgrims perform Hajj in Saudi Arabia

Every year, Muslims from all over the world travel to Mecca in Saudi Arabia for the Hajj pilgrimage. This year the weeklong Hajj started on June 14th. Although the weather was hot, the pilgrims gathered to pray at the Kaaba at the Great Mosque. They also climbed up Mount Arafat for prayers. After many years, people of Syria were allowed to attend Hajj in Saudi Arabia. For after all, Hajj is a period of peace and love.
