Mexico gets 1st female President

Claudia Sheinbaum has been sworn in as the President of Mexico, an independent country in North America. Sheinbaum, a scientist and politician, is the nation’s first female President. As she took her oath as President, legislators shouted “Presidenta... Presidenta” and eagerly welcomed her. Sheinbaum has promised to reduce prices of food and petrol and create more opportunities for women and children.
