Maasai Olympics Give Equal Opportunities to Women

Forty young women participated in the Maasai Olympics in Kenya, Africa. The Olympic races are usually held for men to show off their running skills. But this year, 160 athletes, including young women, participated in the races. Valentine Naisimoi, who aspires to become an athlete like well-known Kenyan runner Mary Moraa, said the games will give more opportunities to Kenyan women. The event was organized by the Big Life Foundation, which works for the protection of African lions.
