Josef Newgarden Wins Indianapolis 500 for the 2nd Year

33-year-old car racer Josef Newgarden won the 2024 Indianapolis (Indy) 500 race for the second year in a row. The Indy 500 is a popular race in which race car drivers zoom across the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the USA. In 2001 and 2002, Helio Castroneves won the Indy 500 race for two years in a row. After more than 20 years, Newgarden became the first racer to break that record.
