John McFall of England will become the world’s first disabled astronaut. He will travel to the International Space Station (ISS). McFall is a Paralympian and a doctor. He won several medals in games for disabled persons. He was trained by the European Space Agency (ESA). They wanted to find out if it is possible to send a disabled person into space. Now ESA has agreed to send McFall for a six-month trip to the ISS.
