India strengthens partnership with Maldives

The President of Maldives, Mohamed Muizzu, came to India on a 4-day visit. Maldives is an island country near India. The President met with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and held discussions with them. The meeting will set up business and trade ties between the two countries. As part of agreements, RuPay card payments were introduced in Maldives. The President also said that he hopes to welcome more Indian tourists.
