India sends help to Zimbabwe, Malawi

India has sent ships full of foodgrains like rice and maize to African countries of Zimbabwe, Malawi, and Zambia. Due to extreme dry weather, these countries are facing a terrible food shortage. Over 60 percent of crops planted in these countries were lost due to dry weather. With this help, India has shown its unity with African nations as part of the South-South Cooperation network.
