India might get above-normal rainfall

In its April weather forecast, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that India’s southwest monsoon might be more than usual this year. Southwest monsoon lasts from June to September, and most parts of the country will get good rainfall. IMD will give a long-range weather report for the southwest monsoon in April and May.
