India is a leading startup ecosystem with over 100 unicorns

In business, a startup company whose value is more than one billion US dollars is called a unicorn. India has become the world’s third-largest startup ecosystem with over a hundred unicorns. It follows the USA and China in the number of startup companies. These startup companies provide employment opportunities to thousands of people. Union Minister Jitendra Singh inaugurated the CSIR Innovation Complex (CSIR-IC) in Mumbai. It has labs and offices to encourage new startup companies.
