Every year, about 50 billion plastic pens are thrown away into the rubbish. These plastics take years to decay. To prevent the use of plastics, Saurabh H. Mehta of New Delhi created the NOTE pen. It is a 100 percent recyclable pen that uses a paper refill and harmless ink. The pen itself can be made from bamboo, metal, or paper. Saurabh H. Mehta founded a company called bioQ, which makes eco-friendly stationery that is safe for the atmosphere.
