Gujarat Launches Scheme for Laborers

The Government of Gujarat announced the launch of the 'Shramik Basera' Scheme for the state. According to the scheme, 17 temporary housing structures will be builtin cities like Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad. Labourers and construction workers can stay in the houses by paying rupees 5per day. 15thousand construction workers will benefit from the 'Shramik Basera' Yojana. The scheme will help to improve the living standards of construction workers.
