During World War II, from 1939 to 1945, France was occupied by the Nazis of Germany and suffered great hardships. It was on the 25th of August, 1944, that the Nazis left France and let the country live peacefully. On 25th August 2024, France celebrated the 80th anniversary of France’s liberation from Nazi rule. France’s flag was hoisted, and prayers were held for all those soldiers who laid down their lives for the country’s freedom.
