DC, Marvel lose ‘Superhero’ trademark

Marvel and DC Comics create characters like Superman and Batman. Both companies hold the trademark of ‘Superhero’ for their characters. Now, Scott Richold has made a series about baby heroes and calls them ‘Super Babies.’ A case was taken to court because both companies use similar trademarks for ‘Superhero’ and ‘Super Babies.’ Marvel and DC lost the case and were asked to cancel their trademark. From now on, anyone can use the word ‘Superhero.’
