China’s Mars rover finds proof of beaches on Mars

Billions of years ago, Mars might have had rivers and oceans with long sandy beaches. They might have looked just like the beaches on Earth. The Zhurong Mars rover was sent by China to Mars. It has special equipment that helps it look deep into the ground. It found layers of sand just like on the beaches on Earth. This shows that germ-like living organisms might have lived on Mars.
