Bangladesh leader leaves country after 15 years in power

Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister of the South Asian country of Bangladesh, resigned from her post. She left the country after protests broke out in many parts of Bangladesh. Students all over the country began their protests, saying that the government should give equal job opportunities to all people. The military of Bangladesh has now taken control of the country. Elections might be held to form a new government.
