Assam Govt launches stipend support for girl students

The Government of Assam launched the Nijut Moina scheme for girl students. Under the scheme, girls from classes 11, 12, and college students will get a monthly stipend or money to help them in their higher studies. The scheme will prevent child marriages and encourage girls to get a good education. Under the rules of the scheme, the girls must attend school regularly and get good marks.
