Amsterdam will not build new hotels, due to over-tourism

Amsterdam is the capital city of the Netherlands. It is famous for its food, museums, and beautiful locations. Thousands of tourists visit Amsterdam each year, leading to pollution and overcrowding. To control the number of tourists, officials banned cruise ships from sailing to Amsterdam. From this year, permission will not be given for the building of new hotels in the city.
