Aditya L1 Mission completes its 1st halo orbit

Indian Space Research Organization’s (ISRO) Aditya L1 spacecraft successfully completed its first orbit around the L1 point. Aditya L1 is a solar observatory that was sent to a place in space that is midway between the Earth and the Sun. From there, Aditya L1 moves in a circular path to study the sun. Aditya L1 was put on the orbit path on January 6th, 2024. It took 178 days to complete its first orbit.
