1st woman officer from Army Air Defense for Siachen

Captain Supreetha CT is the 1st woman officer from the Army Air Defense to be postedat Siachen. The Siachen Glacierlocatedin the Himalayas, is the world’s highest battlefield. Before herposting, Captain Supreetha underwent a month-long training that included survival drills and ice wall climbing at Siachen Battle School. Captain Supreetha is an inspiration forwomen to join the Armed Forces.
